La Casetta Farmhouse is surrounded by nature and small traditional Tuscan cultivations. We have a vineyard and an olive grove, which are part of the local landscape and culture, as well as a small orchard with fruit trees.
We also grow a vegetable garden where we cultivate fresh seasonal vegetables and an area with aromatic herbs such as rosemary, sage, thyme, and lavender.
Volunteers usually help with light outdoor activities such as gardening, harvesting fruit and vegetables, caring for the plants, watering, small pruning tasks, and general maintenance of the green spaces. The work changes depending on the season, so there is always something new to learn.
We love sharing our knowledge and learning together. It’s a great experience for people who enjoy nature, working outdoors, and discovering the rhythms of rural life in Tuscany.
At La Casetta Farmhouse we practice small-scale organic farming and try to keep everything as natural as possible. Many of the products we grow are used in our daily meals, so we often enjoy fresh, seasonal and local food directly from the garden.
